A Life in Thirty-Five Boxes, by Dave Haslam and published in 2019 explores our impulse to collect, our emotional attachment to vinyl, and the notion that every record collection reflects our life story, our “passions and our pleasures. Our moments of rapture, and our moments of regret”.  It is a short beautifully designed book published by Confingo Publishing, and written by the engaging Dave Haslam, a DJ of Hacienda, and a highly accomplished broadcaster and writer.
